UK Airlines
Some airlines can supply or allow you to take your own oxygen during flights.
Procedure for notifying airline of your requirements is as follows:-
Contact airline customer services to check if you can take oxygen on board. You can then book your flight telling them you are either bringing your own oxygen or you require them to provide oxygen. Also remember to request airport assistance if required.
Both Monarch and Easy Jet are very helpful if you are taking your own wheelchair and will arrange for someone to meet you and take you to departures for your flight. You will then be taken to the combi lift for getting on the aircraft and one person can go with you. If you do not have your own wheelchair they will arrange for somebody to meet you with one of their own at check in.
Also remember to provide an up to date Doctor's fit to fly letter as they will ask to see this before you travel.
If anything goes wrong with your oxygen on board the aircraft, for example if it does not work or it runs out, the air crew will provide the airlines oxygen at no extra cost.
